one of my only complaints about the bbs is having to tiptoe around rules- e.g saying "pic is relevant" or "im not complaining about my ban"
I mean it doesn't even happen anymore, but back in the day it was annoying

Same here man. Most of the topics in the bbs aren't even that great so sometimes it can be hard to tell which topics are spam. For the most part, if the thread is obviously ridiculous, I don't touch it.
during this time, you should catch up on things... you know go out in the sun, get shit done that you've been putting aside...

Happened to me too, after a while, you will get a feeling for it, which topics are spam or will lead to spam, so it becomes easier to evade them.
